On July 13th 2002 we at Cornellier Fireworks had a fireworks display at the annual Beloit Riverfest.

In past years for this event we had used a pyromate firing system in which we were able to shoot the event with good success.

For the first time in this event's history we were able to convert to a computerized firing system in which the fireworks were brought to a level of extreme intensity.

The system that we used was a SMARTFIRE. The show lasted fifteen minutes, forty-five seconds. With the SMARTFIRE system we were able to have the show designed, choreographed, setup and shot within a span of less than two weeks.

The ease of use with the firing system was such that all thought could be focused to the choreographing of the show itself, and not how the software functioned. During the 'continuity check out' of the show, the use of the instant response of the system allowed us to make immediate corrections of the setup in a minimum of time.

The wave file scripting and the drag and drop functions made the concept design of the show flow smoothly.

Scripting corrections to the show design were made with ease and allowed every concept of the show to be included, making the event a beautiful display of art in the sky. When the show had begun, the dynamic effect of the computerized fired show surprised even me!

All of the effects that were choreographed were brilliant and very synchronized. The pre-fire times were perfect. The music was just awesome, in sync, and the imagination of the show was a dream come true.

I was just amazed being in display fireworks for just over one year and having a chance to use a firing system that made me look like a pro, like I had been doing this all of my life!

I would like to thank everyone at PYROMATE for your hard effort in the design of the SMARTFIRE system. As we grow we would like to have Pyromate and the SMARTFIRE system there for all of our endeavors in the production of our display fireworks company.
