In 1999 I decided that it was time to begin to look at computer firing
as a way to increase my competitive edge and fulfill the needs of some
clients that wanted choreographed fireworks displays. At the PGI convention
I spent a good deal of time comparing each of the four systems readily
available at that time.

After completely reviewing factors such as software user friendliness,
cost, ruggedness of field components and flexibility it was obvious that
Pyromate's Smartshow was the system for me. In the short time I spent
talking with the companies owner, David Lavoie I had learned how to
use the system from start to finish. I could not believe that computer firing
could be this easy.

A few months later I received my system, and I literally choreographed a
4.5 minute show within the first three hours of receiving the software. The
show was used to demo my new proximate product line at Kellners Fireworks
that following spring. The system has since performed flawlessly on numerous
shows and has stood up well to the abuse sustained in display environments.

I have no second thoughts about my purchase of a Smartshow system and
have since purchased two Mini 96 systems also. The customer service has been
superb, with being able to reach the companies owner, David Lavoie 98% of
the times I have called, day or night including weekends. His excellent
knowledge of his systems, computers, electronics and the display business is
evident in the design of Smartshow and the customer service he provides for
his products.
